At 171 metres long, the USS Pennsylvania is one of the biggest
submarine in the US Navy. It can submerged much deeper than a

remain under the sea for up to 6 months. This naval vessel
navigated under water was built for warfare and armed with
torpedoes that carries a crew of 155 men. There was an
investigation how this submarine made possible through a
series of six historic engineering breakthroughs. Using
computer-generated imagery this film explores the incredible
stories behind these submarines and the inventions that have
allowed them to grow from BIG, to BIGGER, into
the US Navy’s BIGGEST in size.
